Daruma Koro Necklace

ISHITOMO X IMAI DARUMA COLLABORATION

Since ancient times, people have believed in the power of fragrance to ward off evil spirits. Paying homage to this tradition, jewellery maker Ishitomo has created a special necklace designed to be a modern-day protective amulet. A key feature is how the top of the pendant is shaped like a kōro – a container traditionally used to burn incense in Japan.

This product is also a collaboration with daruma maker “Imai Daruma”, as the design is inspired by the distinctive expression of the Takasaki daruma doll, also known as the "Fuku Daruma". Black diamonds are used for the eyes, and the brownish-red carnelian gemstone and aroma ceramic ball inside the necklace make up the body.

The necklace comes in two different materials, silver and K18 gold.
