Copper Sake Guinomi Cup

A guinomi (large) sake cup designed to give the appearance of hammered metal.

The design was made using precision casting, also known as "lost-wax casting", an ancient process used to create intricate pieces. Guinomi sake cups are typically larger, used as a casual way to appreciate sake. The warm copper color brings a radiance to the clear liquid, making the act of drinking sake just a bit more special. There is also an ochoko cup and a kataguchi pitcher in the same series.
