Copper Sake Ochoko Cup

An ochoko (small) sake cup with charming cherry blossom design on the inside.

The design was made using precision casting, also known as "lost-wax casting", an ancient process used to create intricate pieces. Ochoko sake cups are typically smaller and used for sipping. The warm copper color brings a radiance to the clear liquid, making the act of drinking sake just a bit more special. There is also a guinomi cup and a kataguchi pitcher in the same series.
